Colonialism is the Root of Oppression. Only Colonized Working Class Leadership will Smash It!

Here at Black Hammer, we receive a LOT of pushback from angry colonizers (and their lackeys) when they find out about our 4th principle of unity. Why? Because that principle states that we colonized poor and working-class people are the ONLY true proletariat of the world.

White people have spat in my direction with their sob stories, “My family was POOR and worked in a COTTON FIELD!” When I explain their position within the cotton field, within the society fashioned by and for them, they spit once more, “All we DO is work!!”

And Black Hammer’s response will always be: “So, you ‘work’, huh? That’s cool, but not when you’re working stolen land. Were you ever (or are you currently) the LOOT in the cotton field?

There’s a reason why we say that the ONLY true proletariat is the colonized proletariat. That reason starts with the beginnings of capitalism, which has ITS true origins in COLONIALISM.

Let’s go back to that beginning.

Europe was a barren land ruled by kings, queens, lords, and nobles. Full of sickness, poverty, death, and serfdom. Being a serf was commonplace and meant that you worked the land that the nobles and lords owned (such as the term, Landlord.)

Tied to the land, serfs had very few options to progress in society and often fell victim to numerous hardships and diseases. Wanting more laboring bodies, the nobles, lords, kings, and queens decided to begin conquering the lands and peoples of more prosperous places, such as Africa, Asia, and Turtle Island.  They did this by sending oppressed workers  into soon-to-be colonized nations to pillage, rape, and capture black and brown people’s lands, lives, labor, and resources. Only after taking this road were these workers able to obtain the same leadership and wealth levels as that of their masters.

600 years ago, portugal left it’s stinking shores to bombard and conquer the lush and prosperous land of Africa, with the rest of Europe eagerly following suit all over the world. Ever since then, colonized people have been their bounty. Our resources and labor their bread and butter.

Their stolen wealth, improvement of life, and livelihood as europeans rests on Colonized Nations’ backs. That historical relationship continues to be erased by whites of all classes, as hinted above.

They want more of what never belonged to them.

Rich or poor, old or young, left-wing or right-wing, ALL colonizers demand control of the “means of production.” And the means of production (the way you take what’s in nature and make it usable for society) under Colonialism? Is pillaged land and slave labor.

They want MORE. More pillaging. More death. More power.

They feel it is their birthright as long as they call themselves the “working class.”

But how can they call themselves working class in a world where the work they do REQUIRES the genocide of entire Nations? That is not work; that is parasitism.

Karl Marx, a dude worshiped by white “leftists,” once said,

“The discovery of gold and silver in America, the extirpation, enslavement, and entombment in mines of the aboriginal population, the beginning of the conquest and looting of the East Indies, the turning of Africa into a warren for the commercial hunting of black-skins, signalized the rosy dawn of the era of capitalist production.

There it is, out of the mouth of this colonizer, who white “leftists” point to as their savior.

Our 6th most read article made a lot of people salty but. The entirety of industrialized Europe was built on a foundation of theft, enslavement, and genocide targeting the peoples and lands of Africa, Asia, and the Western hemisphere. So.

Without colonialism, there would be NO capital to have capitalism, and without capitalism, you have no working class, PERIOD.

The struggle for white “leftists” to proclaim themselves workers is really the struggle for them to CLAIM and pick up the colonial torch, to continue turning colonized people into loot. To control and dominate our colonized nations fully.

We as the true working-class, whose labor literally keeps the entire world functioning, know for a fact that an occupying force whose only interest is stealing our resources and labor and calling it their “Means of Production” is not just unstable, it’s apocalyptic.

How can they control production that is stolen? How can they claim themselves a workers in a world where children are left to dig mines deep in the earth for materials that power the computer they sit at all day or the shingles they slap on a roof built with the stolen resources of indigenous people? How can they call what they do work when it means the apocalypse for colonized nations; when it means an apocalypse under full-scale climate collapse?

They can’t.

We won’t let them.

Our 4th principle of unity also states that ONLY through our leadership can capitalism, white power, colonialism, imperialism, and all its symptomatic offspring (racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, etc.) be smashed. This means the “means of production” will be under the leadership of its true stewards (the colonized poor and working masses). We will take back dictatorship over our lands, lives, labor, and resources. Any force that stands in the way of our liberation is  a symptom of colonialism and an attempt to continue the enslavement and conquest 600 years in the making.

If you would like to truly see an end to exploitation and build a world where no one lives at the expense of another, support or better yet become the Colonized leader that only organization can make of us. Help end this genocidal blood-drenched system once and for all and help all Colonized and Indigenous people regain our power and resources that were and are being stolen!!

If you’re white and you know or are willing to learn that the only way out of this mess created by you and your ancestors is through our leadership, then join our Reparations Corps. Find out how you can use your resources, skills, and time to ensure that power is returned to the hands of poor and working-class colonized people. We all get free together!

Land Back!
