Make no mistake about it, the attacks against trans athletes in women’s sports, has nothing to do with protecting “little girls.” The attacks are really a part of a larger agenda to homogenize the U.S. as a Judeo European Christian society centered around supporting international capital’s continued dominance over the entire planet. This is an agenda facilitated by the capitalist classes (multi-national corporations) because those people understand that their best chance at continuing to control the planet rests with institutionalizing the dehumanization of anyone who would challenge them.
The African (Black) masses, other colonized communities, women, the queer community, and even the limited number of anti-capitalist Europeans (Whites) are threats to the capitalist classes everywhere on earth. In sequence with that, this homogenized European Judeo Christian “base” is the on the ground barrier the capitalists depend upon to enforce their interests for them.
It’s critical that marginalized communities recognize this reality because the other crucial aspect of this capitalist strategy is to institutionalize misinformation and disunity among oppressed peoples. A simple five-minute scroll through any social media platform will confirm this. African men denouncing African women. African people born in the U.S. denouncing Africans born in other parts of the world. Indigenous people of the Western Hemisphere fighting African people. Asians fighting African people. African people fighting queer/trans people. Working class Europeans disparaging every other community from Indigenous to African to queer to Muslims, etc.
The capitalists haven’t maintained their stranglehold over humanity for centuries by being amateurs. These people are expert manipulators, and the key element of that skill base is knowing how to aim your initial shots at the easiest target. Currently, that’s the trans community. There is no need for oppression Olympics here. We say the trans community because the intolerance against them extends deep throughout all segments of society, including marginalized communities. For the capitalist classes, aiming their hammer at the easiest link in the fence makes sense because more than a few of us don’t make the right connections. We don’t understand that if we side with our enemies on any issue, we are making it easier for them to exploit every issue. There are plenty of examples of this.
The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) is case in point because it symbolizes everything our enemies hate. A league dominated by African and/or queer women. A league that has easily surpassed the men’s leagues in basketball, football, baseball, hockey, soccer, and every professional sport in advocacy for oppressed communities. The WNBA boldly took the lead years ago in supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and the queer movement. Two movements the capitalists work overtime to discredit. The fact that the face of the WNBA is (primarily) African queer women, makes the point emphatically. It’s for these reasons that intelligent people must open their eyes to what is currently happening. When a blond, European (White) cis gender woman like Sophie Cunningham (Indiana Fever – Caitlin Clark’s team), states in a press conference, as she did recently, that “trans women have no place in women’s sports” and that she’s only interested in “protecting girls” these are dog whistles facilitated by the capitalist system.
There is nothing about Ms. Cunningham that suggests that she possesses any level of political sophistication. In fact, her silence in the wake of the fallout from her remarks (and the anti-trans momentum that has resulted from it) probably indicates her naiveite around the issue, but time will tell on that. What we do know for sure, whether she knows it or not, is trans women account for literally less than 1% of women athletes so the frothy fear of this army of trans athletes dominating women’s sports exists nowhere in reality. We also know that anyone who is serious about protecting “little girls” would start with the documented proven threat against them – white men. Pedophiles, including the many white men pedophiles that are the faces of this European Judeo-Christian sham movement.
Sophie Cunningham averages 8 points per game in her seven-year WNBA career. Enes Kanter (who legally changed his last name to Freedom to highlight the U.S. as a free and democratic country) had a career in the National Basketball Association (NBA) of about 12 years, averaging 11 points and eight rebounds. For the sake of discussion, we will say that each of these players were never superstar players, but firm role players and anyone who has played basketball on any meaningful level knows the importance of role players, but if you listen to the capitalist media, they are constantly referring to Cunningham as a “star” player. This is an intentional propaganda effort to elevate her status due to her off court activities, modeling, podcasts, political positioning, and her overall representation of cis blond, white women. She has never approached being a star player and she never will, but she is useful to the capitalist system because by elevating her they are advancing their political agenda. By labeling her a star, they justify the attention she gets.
With Kanter or Freedom, it’s a similar strategy. He has been a much more useful tool to the capitalist system off the court than on. His parents being born in Turkey, he has spent the last several years running around attacking China as the world’s largest violator of human rights as a part of the U.S. campaign to convince us that China has replaced the capitalist countries as the chief exploiter in Africa. We are revolutionary Pan-Africanists which means we want Africa for the Africans, 100%, but no one is going to tell us that China’s focus on trading infrastructure in Africa for natural resources (they do have almost two billion people to feed) is the same as the capitalist countries of the U.S., Europe, zionist Israel, Australia, etc., who rob Africa blind, leaving absolutely nothing except poverty and despair.
Kanter tied his tirades against China to his constant attacks against African athletes within the NBA who have ties to shoe companies and apparel produced from China, but this is clearly a much larger problem. Especially since capitalism controls all world markets. Even if you do everything to implement a socialist model of production, you still must negotiate the parts, products, labor, etc., based upon capitalist controls. Just look at the U.S. strangulation economic blockade against socialist Cuba to underscore that point. What Kanter and these other propagandists are blaming China for is really an issue of capitalism, again. And these capitalist propagandists know this. They are only using China for their broader agenda which we said in the beginning is to beat down the communities that threaten their interests. Kanter’s emphasis on U.S. patriotism (targeting athletes who refuse to stand for the toilet paper anthem and flag) is consistent with his dishonest ploy to be eligible for the next WNBA draft (to highlight the capitalist talking point of what defines a woman). All of his actions are couched within a desire to advance capitalist values while of course, building his grifter brand in the process. Meanwhile, Cunningham and Kanter enjoy every growing support from the same reactionary communities within the U.S. who claim to be against diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). These people tell African athletes like Colin Kaepernick who speak out against injustices to “shut up and dribble” but they support people like Cunningham and Kanter for their off the court antics and they justify this by elevating each of those individual’s actual impact on the court. An unquestioned act of elevating average at best, mediocre at worse, players for a broader political agenda.
So, for those people who are not queer, trans, women, African, Indigenous, etc., who view issues aimed against any of those communities that you aren’t a part of as ill relevant or contrary to your interests, you are either wittingly or unwittingly doing the work of the capitalist system to perpetuate continued oppression against all communities. No one is asking you to embrace anything you don’t agree with. A European man said to me recently that he “doesn’t have anything against Black people.” My response to him, and any and everyone who spits such trash, was I wouldn’t and couldn’t care less what he has an issue with. I don’t spend a single second of my life worried about being accepted by anyone. And I know that principle applies to trans people. They aren’t concerned about you accepting them. They just want to live in peace. If people can’t deal with that then stay in your little hovel and avoid humanity for the rest of your miserable lives, but don’t play into the hands of the enemies of humanity. This is one instance where the adage “if you can’t say something positive, don’t say anything at all” applies. Some of us do so much work for the system against our own interests that it’s incredible that we permit ourselves to be such pawns in work that you aren’t even being paid to do. At least snitches and turn coats like William O’Neil, Eugene Roberts, and John Ali had sense enough to get paid for doing the work of the enemy.
