African and Asian solidarity protest against anti-Asian bigotry.

Anti-Asian Bigotry & the US Establishment

Joe Biden is no better than Trump in creating an atmosphere of anti-Asian bigotry and de facto white supremacy with his foreign policy, and corporate media fan the flames of anti-Chinese racism. “The media in this country always use non-white people as the focus of suspicion.” Ever since a white Georgia man killed six Asian women and two others in Atlanta, the corporate media have jumped onto the “stop Asian hate” bandwagon as if they are innocent bystanders. It is easy to point fingers at a murdering local redneck and leave unexamined the media role in spreading hatred based on . . .

White Squatters Rights in Crisis

The white-on-white crime events of January 6th, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol was an eye-soaring squint into the internal class contradictions of white supremacy. More specifically, it was a historical snapshot capturing a long-running legal dispute over preemption or what I refer to as white squatters rights: the unabashed freedom of white Europeans to illegitimately occupy stolen land and property.  Contemporarily, squatting is when a person (think invader) moves into an uninhabited home (think land), refuses to leave, and also claims it as their own (sound familiar?). Originally, Senator Henry Clay designed The Pre-Emption Act of 1841 as a compromise . . .

Biden-Harris: On Celebrating Their Victory as Progress

The 2020 U.S. election victory of the Biden-Harris campaign has been hailed a victory for all peoples. A victory for all those who have felt betrayed by Trump and for those who never liked Trump to begin with. Trump was elected into office with the promise of economic transformation for the poor white masses, from which a significant portion of his support came. The rich white elite, of which he himself is a member, also supported him.   Upon entering the White House, however, the Trump administration was spectacular in paying little to no mind the plights and conditions of the . . .

‘Progressive Is A Farce’ — Ask The Squad.

In 2018, a “blue wave” hit congress that allowed the democratic party to take back the House of Representatives with a string of new face rising-star politicians. The four fresh-faced politicians that received more visibility because their perceived progressive politics automatically received push-back from the party’s gatekeepers were Rashida Talib, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, and Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez. These four women of colonized backgrounds ultimately became known as “The Squad” and proceeded to ride that wave of support to inevitably make no waves within the party. Not only does The Squad pose no legitimate threat within the neoliberal party, but . . .

A Pan-Africanist Perspective of White/Right Terrorism in D.C.

White/right terrorists decided to disrupt the bourgeoisie proceedings to validate the electoral college election of Joe Biden as the next empire president of the U.S. by storming and taking over the Capitol building, disrupting the congressional proceedings.  The irony is everywhere and overwhelming.  As I watched a European fascist sitting at and pillaging through the desk of one of the bourgeoisie lawmakers while resting their feet on that desk in the U.S. Capitol, I couldn’t help but reflect on all the irony.  What those fascists are doing in D.C. is reminiscent of a scene from the 1915 movie “Birth of . . .

As Usual, Most Of Us Miss The Point on Ice Cube & “Platinum Plan”

Rapper/actor/entertainer Ice Cube has worn many hats throughout his professional career.  He started as a so-called gangsta rapper with the impactful group NWA in the late 80s.  Then, he joined forces with Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad and the Nation of Islam to become a hardcore Black nationalist rapper in the early 90s.  That phase devolved into him making several high profile records with Mac 10 and WC as the “Westside Connection.”  Records that were part gangsta, part party animal.  Finally, he moved into mainstream motion pictures. Most recently, he rotated back into the struggle for African self-determination with many public . . .

Where Do We Stand?

In the last weeks, there have been more and more building conversations around the potential of the 45th president of the US, Donald Trump, staging a coup to stay in office after the November 3rd general elections. The uncertainty of citizens’ (in)ability to vote by mail during a pandemic, and an open supreme court seat coupled with Trump’s rather outright statements suggesting he may not leave, has led to a cartoonish- like panic around how we are discussing the upcoming elections. The same groups are also having the conversations around these alleged possibilities and scenarios on the left that have . . .

Delusion and the 2020 US Presidential Election

Think about all the time, resources, labor, and capacity that are poured into the US electoral process. Billions of dollars and millions of hours and millions of people all activated and mobilized around this spectacle. Judging by those figures one would assume that some significant wins that would improve the day to day conditions of the masses of poor and working class people were at stake. . . .
